I agree, A. It's difficult to be the "odd one out" and yet even more difficult to be the one who speaks up. My husband is the latter and he's taught it to our children and I envy them their strength and integrity in this regard. Now our daughter is a public defender and I know the lessons were learned all the way down to the bone.
