Right? At the time, I was such a baby feminist; I had no vocabulary and didn't even know how to categorize what he was doing. But it definitely felt like negative attention. And trust me: by that point I'd had enough awkward guys sidling up to me, trying to get the nerve to ask me out. I knew what that looked like, and this definitely wasn't it.
