I loved reading this, and once again am grateful that I am childless by choice. I never wanted children - from the time I was a small child, until today in my late 60's, I've never changed my mind. I was fortunate that both of the men I was serious about setting up a "forever" life with were fine with that decision. In fact, my ex-fiancee - still a good friend - doesn't have any children with his wife either (although he has a menagerie of three horses, several dogs and cats).
I still loved the story. I know that mind-shifts happen often and heavily once kids enter the picture. All of a sudden more things need to be considered and horizons need to be broadened.
